The Overview


On January 12, 2017, The Altus Group published the 2017 Real Confidence Executive Index, which revealed telling details about commercial real estate (“CRE”) executives in the industrial, infrastructure, and multi-family asset classes. Although the Toronto-based Altus Group was securing media coverage in Canada, the organization expressed an interest in establishing itself as a thought leader in the U.S. market.

Environics quickly identified that the challenge in promoting this report involved being able to communicate its most technical, and important details. The report highlighted crucial information that was relevant to C-Suite executives, but Environics needed to identify publications whose audiences included those executives.


Environics launched a traditional media campaign to drive attention towards the event, The Altus Group, and its latest report. Our tactics included:
