Jason Sywak

From nonprofit organizations to billion dollar entertainment companies, Jason has developed strategic communication and marketing plans that tell a story and create an impact.

Prior to joining Environics he worked with the Institute for Humane Studies, an academic organization, managing marketing efforts for the Institute’s undergraduate student programs. For more than four years Jason worked with nonprofits in both in-house marketing and consulting capacities where his work has helped raise awareness on issues from gender-based violence to economic mobility.

Jason started out at MTV Networks working on content marketing and distribution. He left MTV to join the social action and advocacy team at Participant Media in Los Angeles where he developed and executed social action campaigns for films such as The HelpContagionWaiting for ‘Superman’, among others. Jason has a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University in Chicago.

Originally from Philadelphia, he's an avid consumer of all things adventurous, from learning Swahili and German online to constantly seeking the best food trucks in DC.
